Description:

FINE INUIT HERBAL TEA FROM THE TUNDRA OF NUNAVIK
Inspired by the traditional Inuit blends of tea, the Avataq Cultural Institute has produced five varieties of herbal teas – Labrador, Crowberry, Arctic Blend, Juniper, and Cloudberry – to be enjoyed piping hot or icy cold. These blends of tea have been known to have medicinal properties, but it is really their subtle and new fragrance that will enchant you.
The Nunavik Inuit take part in all steps of production, from collecting the plants to selling the teas. All profits are given to Avataq Cultural Institute, an organization that protects and promotes the language and culture of Nunavik Inuit.
Northern Delights teas are made from plants of the highest quality. Each bag is individually wrapped and the boxes are sealed with cellophane. They have a shelf-life of five years. The product has been in development since 2000 and was officially launched in the Fall of 2002.
